Put down that Bud Light and pick up a Rob Roy.
Out with a big-wig client, but don’t know what to order at the bar? You came to the right place, my sales friend. Here we serve you a dose of genius by telling you about the “Rob Roy”, awarded the most underappreciated drink of 2016 by Cocktail Enthusiast.
The Rob Roy is basically a Manhattan made with scotch instead of whiskey, which makes the drink more earthy-tasting. If the bartender doesn’t know how to make it, even better; another perfect opportunity to further impress that client.
2 oz. Scotch Whiskey
.75 oz Sweet Vermouth
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Garnish with Orange Peels or Cherry
Serve in a Cocktail Glass

So when you’re mixing it up with clients, remember the name Rob Roy. It sounds so much more impressive than “Rum and Coke.”
