We never make a habit of arguing with five-year-olds, smug billionaires or British Neuroscientists.
So when researchers at UK's Mindlab International tell us how to deep-six anxiety, we're on that like butter on a crumpet.
In fact, the eight-minute track "Weightless" -- by British trio Marconi Union -- is SO sedative that you are cautioned not to listen while driving.
The band worked with sound therapists to carefully create rhythms, harmonies and bass lines designed to reduce blood pressure, slow the heart rate and lower the stress hormone cortisol. No wonder its being called "the most relaxing song ever created".
The experiment was conducted by having several dozen women compete against the clock to complete challenging puzzles (i.e. to induce stress).
They were then played songs ranging from mellow pop to classical music, while connected to sensors. "Weightless" reduced their anxiety by a whopping 65 percent (which is even more relaxing than a massage).
Hey, maybe the song will even chill-out those smug billionaires we're always avoiding.
